Description

Set of 4 pencils designed in the motif of the traditional Korean rooftop lines of Jeongjeon, Yeongyeongjeon, and Gongshindang within the Jongmyo shrine. A reflection of the “beauty of space” often used in traditional Korean art.

Great small gift for any Asian history or museum merchandise lover.

Jongmyo is a Confucian shrine dedicated to the perpetuation of memorial services for the deceased kings and queens of the Korean Joseon Dynasty. According to UNESCO, the shrine is the oldest royal Confucian shrine preserved and the ritual ceremonies continue a tradition established in the 14th century.
